Justice

2016-2018

 

I worked at Justice, a tween girls’ clothing store. My tasks included greeting and helping customers, keeping the store clean and neat, checking out customers, and selling clothes and credit card applications. I also completed the task of freight which included sizing, censoring, and hanging/ folding clothing. Some days also included floor sets, which was when we had to make displays and change the stores design.

 

Picture People

 I also worked at Picture People, a family portrait studio. I was in charge of taking photos, uploading and editing those photos on their computer system, Darkroom, and then selling those photos to the customers. I was tasked with making phone calls, telemarketing, and confirming appointments. Keeping the studio clean and tidy was also an important task. I worked at a very fast pace, the job required quick and efficient work to keep the customers happy.

 

 

Ice Skating Internship 

2015

 

I had the opportunity to go to Lake Placid, NY one summer and take photographs of an ice skating competition. I learned the ropes of shooting fast paced events, uploading the files and then picking the best ones to be displayed on their website. I learned how to interact with others in a commotion filled environment and make myself stay on task. Communication with employers and potential clients was key too.
