Just a little about me...
My name is Hannah Sams and I am a Senior at Southern Utah University. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and decided to try something new, so I ended up here in Cedar City. Growing up in Vegas was an interesting yet amazing experience. In high school, I fell in love with the game of soccer but later on I discovered photography and it soon became my first passion. At first it was just a hobby but now I'm hoping to turn it into a career. One I hope to pursue after I finish my BFA in Photography.
I have a second passion for animals. I decided to bring both of my passions together to form my project. Thus started my journey of photographing all the animals at the local shelters. I took photos in both Cedar City and Enoch. I then edited and gave all the photos to the shelters to do what they wanted with them. My main goal was to promote adoption and to capture the animals' true spirit. A good photograph is the first step to help them find their forever home.
